Fresh Start School is accepting applications for the 2024 Extended School Year (ESY) Program.

ESY is a therapeutically supported social skills immersion program for students grades 7-12, up to age 22, requiring an extended school year to maintain their level of functioning and prevent regression.

Students develop social awareness and build confidence in a natural learning environment.

The program focuses on important social learning practices and addresses the IEP goals and objectives of each student through:

• Outdoor activities such as hiking and swimming

• Community outings

• Mindfulness practice

• Social learning activities

• Non-competitive sports and games

• Music

• STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, and math)

• Transition programming for students aged 18-22 continue work placements, college readiness, and public transportation training
